Dressy Casual - This is not a formal event, but it is a wedding weekend kickoff. Think elevated summer lake attire: sundresses, nice tops, slacks, linen, fun prints, and outfits worthy of a cocktail by the water.
Once the bride and groom finish rehearsing, the real fun begins. Join us Friday night at Tagalong Resort as we kick off the wedding weekend with drinks, apps, and lakeside hangs. We’ll have the entire restaurant reserved for our group, plus access to the patio, fire pit, and dock down by the water. We’ll have a casual buffet of apps, snacks, gas station-style roller hot dogs, and s’mores by the fire throughout the evening, plus hosted beer, wine, and select drinks behind the bar. Shoot some pool, take over the Touch Tunes, and hang by the lake. Most importantly, we want this night to celebrate all of YOU for making the trip out to be part of our weekend. We’re so excited to welcome everyone, kick off the full weekend party, and spend time with all our favorite people in one place. Expect some speeches, lots of love, and prepare yourselves to help set the tone for the best weekend of your lives. The bar will stay open late for anyone who wants to keep the party going.

The party portion of the evening kicks off at 7:30 PM. Come dance, hang out, and celebrate with us under the tent as the lake party officially begins. Expect live music, late-night snacks, strong drinks, and a dance floor that we fully intend to keep busy all night long. Dinner takes place earlier for invited guests, but everyone is welcome to join the party starting at 7:30 PM. The bar’s on us, but if you have a favorite specialty drink or spirit, feel free to bring it along for the weekend festivities.
