We’re getting married!

Some love stories begin with grand romantic gestures — ours started with a mutual friend and a social media add. Hunter decided to reach out online, and what started as casual conversations quickly became something neither of us expected. Now… Hunter may not have nailed the first impression right away. Our first two dates were canceled thanks to Kentucky basketball taking priority (some things never change). But third time’s the charm, and once we finally went on that first date, everything just clicked. Hours flew by like minutes and the conversation never stopped. Before we knew it, Hunter was “pretend sleeping” at Kloyi’s mom’s just to get more time together and to avoid the long drive back to his hometown. From there, we figured out we had a lot more in common. Our love for music turned into multiple concerts a year, our love for the beach became an annual vacation, and Kloyi’s love for animals turned into two Shih Tzus whom Hunter has grown to love. Hunter moved to Tell City a couple months into dating, and before we knew it, we were four years in. A day before Kloyi’s birthday in September of 2025, Hunter planned a beautiful surprise proposal surrounded by all of our family and friends. The best part of this story is that it’s just the beginning. We can’t wait to start our next chapter, and we are so excited to celebrate it with you!
