Lindsay and Eric met at a bar in Boulder, CO called Press Play. On this warm summer night, drinks were $0.25 and both Lindsay and Eric were out with their friends during their senior year of college. As they went to order drinks, one of Eric's friends bumped into Lindsay and pushed her into the bar. Seeing that Lindsay was agitated after being jostled, Eric offered to buy Lindsay and her friends' drinks (which cost approximately $3.00). Impressed by the smooth-talking big-spender, Lindsay went to hand Eric his drinks and change, which is when he said, "keep the change". He blushed after saying something so stupid out of habit. She laughed off his silly comment and headed to the dance floor with her friends. Later that night, as the bar was clearing out, Eric and Lindsay's paths crossed again as they headed out. Eric grabbed Lindsay's attention and asked, "I've never had anyone correctly recite a 12-drink order as well as you did. I'm impressed...could I get your number?" Surprised by his confidence, she said, "I normally give my friend Ashley's (Maid of Honor) number to random guys...but you're in luck...also it's Lindsay with an 'A'. Call me." They said good bye and stared at each other as they parted ways for the night. Obviously, Eric texted her the next day. Over the next two years they cheered on the Buffs at Folsom field, road-tripped the Pacific Northwest, graduated from college, travelled around Europe, moved to Portland, got engaged and now are getting married!
