Kim grew up in New Hampton, Iowa. After graduating in 2012 she moved to Mason City, Iowa & attended The Original La'James College where she studied Cosmetology as well as Massage Therapy. She practiced Cosmetology for a year while attending school for massage and than moved to Missouri. In 2014 she started her Massage Therapy career & quickly became the Lead Therapist. 5 years later in 2019 the couple moved to Ohio & Kim got a job at a Massage Envy, Toledo. While waiting for her license to transfer she worked as a Front Desk Associate, quickly becoming the Lead FDA. Finally winter 2020 Kim's Ohio massage license arrived & she made the transition back to LMT. Kim's enjoys traveling, going for walks, baking, watching movies, visiting friends/family, & playing with her fur babies Rocco & Sophie. A fun fact about Kim is that in middle school she and a friend taught themselves American Sign Language so they could communicate more secretly.
Nicholas Klohn
Groom
Nicholas grew up in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Bowsher High School and graduated in 2006. He went on to attend Owen's Community College for welding. Nick got a job working for a national farm to table agricultural business, called The Anderson's, where he worked as a welder in their Railcar division. In 2011 he moved to Mason City, Iowa, through a work promotion. In the fall of 2013 he moved again to Kansas City, Missouri, through another promotion. In the summer of 2019 he moved back to Ohio. Currently Nick is a manager at The Midwest Terminals, a place that does international shipping. He has to know what equipment will be needed to help unload the ships coming in, have it ready upon arrival, along with mechanical repairs. Nick enjoys muscle cars, cooking with his smoker, watching movies, spending time with the dogs & playing PS4. A fun fact about Nick is that he has owned a 2001 Mustang Bullitt, a 1969 Chevelle SS, & a 1990 Mistang GT over the years. His dream car is a Shelby Cobra.
Katie Gilmour
Maid of Honor
Katie & Kim attended the same school... Growing up they loved to hangout, listen to their friend's band, 4 wheel, star gaze and confide in each other. As they grew up they realized that the fun didn't have to end at high school and decided to become college roommates in Mason City, IA. Kim can still remember the day they met at the fair to begin planning on becoming roomates. The next big day they signed rental papers and moved everything in with the help of their parents and a few other high school friends. Together they quickly learned their new neighborhood and new neighbors. As their lives changed and moved on they kept in touch and their friendship grew stronger. Katie lives in Iowa where she works as a nurse in an ER. She is married to her husband Jason and together they have a son. Fun fact about Katie is that she played Annie in her High School's production of the Broadway hit "Annie".
Mike Klohn
Best Man
Mike is Nick's older brother & childhood partner in crime. One of Nick's favorite childhood memories with Mike woud be building lego creations together. Nick and Mike share a love of beer & video games. Kim & Mike have a funny story about the day they met that you will only hear from the boys. Mike is a Chemical Engineer who lives in Michigan with his wife Beth, daughter Natalie, and baby is Klohn expected Nov 2021. Fun Fact about Mike is that he microbrews at home with his wife & friends as a hobby.
Hannah Flood
Bridesmaid
Hannah & Kim both attended the same school... Over the years their friendship continued to grow as they attended summer camps and eventually college together (at The Original La'James) in Mason City, IA where they both studied cosmetology. One of Kim's favorite memories with Hannah would be McDonalds after school followed by hanging out in the spinning wheel at Mikkelson's park. They have supported each other through every journey in life & even though they don't live in the same city anymore they always feel like they can pick up right where they left off at. Hannah lives in Iowa and works as a Cosmetologist. She is married to her husband Nic & together they have a son. Fun fact about Hannah is that she made it to state for high school dance competition.
Noah Shonka
Groomsman
Noah lived in the same appartment as Nick & Kim while attending NIACC for nursing in Mason City... Nick and Noah quickly became good friends as they shared alot of the same interests such as the gym, military, and going on adventures. Many evenings & weekends were spent at Noah's appartment. He currently lives in Iowa, were he is a nurse at the Iowa VA Hospital & is enlisted in the US Army. Noah is married to Gina & together they have a daughter and son (Gage) who is our ring bearer. Fun fact about Noah is that he has traveled the world.
Kelly Willert
Bridesmaid
Kelly & Kim attended the same school... Growing up you could find them together at backyard bonfires, preparing for big school dances, or making goofy home dance videos with friends (just to name a few things). As they grew up they continued to support and motivate each other through life. Kelly went on to attend college in Rochester, MN but she always made time to swing by Mason City just to spend a weekend with Kim & Hannah. Kelly lives in Iowa, she works in a hospital as a medical technician. She is married to her husband Derek & together they have a son. Fun fact about her is that she graduated high school with the academic honor of being top of her class.
Tim Rohloff
Groomsman
Tim grew up just down the street from Nick. They attended the same school. Growing up they were best friends. Some of Nick's favorite memories with Tim include hanging out on the golf course that Tim worked at while in high school. They also enjoyed cruising around on mopeds on an island on Lake Erie, called Put-In-Bay. They might've moved away from each other as they grew up but that never broke their friendship. Tim currently lives in Michigan and lives with his fiance Amanda and their dog Dakota. A fun fact about Tim is that he loves to travel.
Sirena Ferguson

Sirena has brought such joy to the couples world... She is Nick's niece, her mother is Melissa (Missy), father is Chris Ferguson,and little sister is Sofia. She loves to play Barbies & always knows how to bring a smile to Uncle Nick & Aunt Kimmy's face. She was at the zoo with her parents on the night Kim & Nick got engaged.

Shawn Crooks

Shawn is the bride's brother. A few of Kim's favorite memories from growing up with Shawn include... Teaching their pets new tricks and putting on shows for the family. Ridding around on their go-cart. As well as making pillow forts indoors and snow forts outdoors A few of his hobbies include photography, cooking & raising animals. He currently lives in Kansas and works on a farm. A fun fact about Shawn is that he has shown animals at the Iowa State Fair.
Chris Ferguson

Chris is a brother-in-law to the groom. He is married to Melissa Ferguson and is the father of the flower girls, Sirena and Sofia Ferguson. Chris lives in Ohio, where he works as an IT Tech. A fun fact about Chris is that he has a 1985 Buick Riviera, that he enjoys working on & taking to car shows.

Dennis along with wife Kendra is the parents of Shawn & Kim Crooks. Dennis enjoys kayaking, hunting, woodworking, teaching his dog tricks & the great outdoors. A fun fact about him is that he has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Lori and her husband Jon curently live in Toledo, Ohio. Lori and Jon actually met while they were both living in Iowa. Lori enjoys reading books, laying out in the sun & gardening. A fun fact about Lori is that she used to work the night shift, as a ER Nurse, at the Toledo Hospital.

Jon along with his wife Lori have 3 children: Mike Klohn, Nick Klohn, & Melissa Ferguson. Jon enjoys watching football, grilling & craft beers. A fun fact about Jon is that back in the day he would water ski barefoot.

Natalie is a cousin of the bride. Natalie is currently attending Iowa State University. A fun fact about Natlaie is that she went to state for cross country, while in high school.

Kim met Holly while attending The Original La'James college for Cosmetology in Mason City, IA. She currently has a salon in Manly, Iowa. A fun fact about Holly is that she has 2 pet Raccoons.
