Will the wedding ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Wedding Ceremony will be outdoors. There will be little to no shading. Please dress in lite summer dress-formal.

How far from the parking lot is the wedding ceremony location?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be in the grass alongside the lake. Depending on your parking spot, the walking distance from the parking lot to the wedding ceremony will be approximately 250-350 feet away.

How far from the wedding ceremony location is the reception venue?

Answer

The reception venue is on-site in a historic barn. Your walk from the wedding location will be in the grass, walking around the lake, and onto the gravel drive to the reception venue approximately 260 feet away.

Is the Reception venue climate controlled (air conditioned)?

Answer

No, there is no air conditioning in the Reception venue (barn).

How far from the reception venue (barn) is the parking lot?

Answer

The reception venue (barn) is on an unpaved, gravel road approximately 200 to 480 feet away.

Is there a nearby hotel?

Answer

Yes - the Inn at Amish Door has set aside a block of rooms for you to reserve. Let them know you are with the Kloha-Maxwell wedding when reserving your room.

Yes - summer semi-formal wear.

Anything special the couple wants guests to know?

Answer

There will be outdoor walking in the grass and on unpaved gravel roads. The reception (barn) flooring is uneven. Please make sure to wear comfortable shoes to accommodate.

Is there transportation from the hotel to the wedding and reception venue?

Answer

Yes a shuttle will transport to the wedding and pick up guests to return to the hotel. Times have yet to be determined/confirmed. Please check back closer to the wedding for more details.
