After weeding thru the glorious world of app dating, we struck a match. Both living in St. Paul, Chris was working two jobs and Emily was working full time and going to school full time finishing her accounting degree. We chatted and texted for a few days before it was clear we needed to meet in person. Emily was too busy coughing out her lungs and we had to postpone our first date. We finally scheduled a time and Chris got stuck working and Emily was still sick. Finally, 9am on a chilly, January Sunday morning at a coffee shop in St Paul, it finally happened. We spent the morning laughing and sipping coffee before Chris had to run off to job #2. However, not before Emily asked him "Can I give you my germs?" (SMOOOTH) and sealed it with a quick kiss. By the end of the first week of seeing each other, Emily was a guest at Chris's work Christmas party and navigating the "how long have you been dating" question (5 days). Two months into dating... the world shut down. All dates turned into home hangouts and learned we absolutely loved our time together. Six months into dating... Chris moved in with Emily because what else is there to do? :) :) We added two kitties to our family. Over the next couple years we tested our relationship with pandemic living, home remodels, working from home, graduating college and finding new jobs. Two years into dating.... Chris popped the question the same day he bought the ring because he was just TOO EXCITED to keep a secret. Most people found 2020 to be one of the worst years but we were able to find love and find our partner. Thank you for supporting us along our journey and we can't wait to share our day with you!
