FAQs

Question

How does a camp wedding work?

Answer

This is a full weekend, summer-camp-style wedding. Instead of a single evening celebration, we'll all be staying together at camp from Friday afternoon through Monday morning. The goal is more time together, fewer rushed conversations, and a fun, relaxed weekend with the people we love most. Outside of the wedding events, there's no required schedule. Spend your time however you'd like join a kickball game, enjoy a morning coffee, relax by the pool, gather around a campfire, or simply do nothing at all. We'll have plenty of optional activities throughout the weekend, and meals will be available at camp throughout your stay. Participation is completely up to you.

Answer

The cost is $525 per person for the entire weekend. Children under 5 are free. This is a flat rate, regardless of where you stay on camp.

Question

Do I have to stay on camp?

Answer

We completely understand that staying at camp may not work for everyone. That said, our hope is that everyone stays on site when possible. The weekend experience really works best when we’re all together. The camp can comfortably accommodate everyone, and we’ll do our best to make arrangements that feel comfortable for each guest.

Question

What are the lodging options?

Answer

Lodging at camp is a mix of: 40 private rooms 20+ cabins There is plenty of room for guests to have privacy or to bunk together if they’d like. Each cabin is large and includes: 3 showers 3 toilets If you’d like to share a cabin with friends or family, that is absolutely possible.

Question

Will I have my own room?

Answer

Private rooms are limited and will be assigned thoughtfully. While we can’t guarantee a private room for every guest, there is ample space for privacy throughout camp. This includes a private cabin if a private room is not available. We’ll collect lodging preferences closer to the wedding and do our best to accommodate everyone.

Question

Can I choose who I stay with?

Answer

Yes! You’ll have the opportunity to let us know: Who you’d like to bunk with (if anyone) Whether you’re open to shared lodging or prefer more privacy

Question

What if I can’t attend the full weekend?

Answer

We understand that not everyone can stay for the full time. However, the pricing is structured as a weekend package, so the cost remains the same even if you attend for only part of the weekend.

Question

How will payment work?

Answer

We’ll share payment details and deadlines on the RSVP page. Payments will be collected directly by us and will cover your lodging and meals for the weekend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Short answer: yes! Long answer: the ceremony and reception will be adults-only, but camp is absolutely kid-friendly for the rest of the weekend. We'd encourage you to embrace a kid-free getaway if childcare works out — but if it doesn't, bring them along. For the wedding day itself, we highly recommend Care.com and are happy to help point you toward childcare options. Just reach out and we'll help figure it out.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We suggest cocktail dresses for women and button downs (tie optional) for men.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Our ceremony will move indoors to the reception hall.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
