Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We really probably do love your kids, but please don't. Get a sitter, have a date night! We anticipate drinking dancing and a late night. Plus since many of you have 2, 3, 4 or maybe even 6 kids a piece, there are just too many to accommodate. We know finding a sitter is hard, but you deserve a night off anyways!

Can I bring a guest?

Our space is limited, our guest list is already over what it is supposed to be, so if a guest spot was not addressed on your invitation, please do not bring anyone extra

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail hour attire. Dressed up and fancy but still comfortable and weather appropriate. LADIES: the venue is partially outdoors, and on uneven ground, you may want to skip the heels and go for cute sandals or flats, plus, we want everyone dancing. Also, please DON'T WEAR WHITE, or cream or off white or mostly white. Thanks!

Where are you registered for gifts?

Answer

We've already been asked this by several people. Here's the thing, we own lots of stuff and have been in a home together for the better part of a decade, so we don't so much need things. We really just want you to come and enjoy our special day with us! If you feel so inclined however, we are registered here on ZOLA, not for gifts but for a Honeymoon Fund! Buying houses and planning weddings and raising little girls is all expensive, and in nearly 10 years of being together, we've never been on a trip just the two of us! We are tentatively planning a trip to our favorite state, Colorado, where we'd like to be able to bounce around and enjoy different parts of the state, go zip lining, kayaking, have some fancy dinners, ya know all the good stuff.

can we bring our own drinks?

Answer

Sure! However per the venue rules, you need to take your bottle to the bartender and leave it with her. Her name is Mabel, she's awesome, and she'll be happy to pour your drinks (just be nice and leave her a tip). We will have beer, vodka, captain and wine :)

What's the bar situation like?

Answer

There's a bar, and a great bartender named Mabel (be nice to her and tip her well please). We will be provided a selection of cocktail options, beer, water and some soda. Drinks will be $1-$2 per drink depending on what you are having. We will have vodka, captain morgan and some kinda whiskey. if you don't like these options and want to BYOB please be sure to take your bottle to Mabel and she will keep it safe behind the bar!
