Flashback to August 2016 - the first week of fall semester classes at Auburn. Andrew noticed Katie in their Monday morning marketing class. That night at the bar (before you judge for being out on a Monday, it was "syllabus week"), Andrew saw Katie and worked up the courage to come introduce himself. They hit it off and on Wednesday Katie decided to sit next to him in class. From then, we became great friends (even though Andrew notoriously slept through class and still got better grades than her). We would see each other at football games and at the bars with mutual friends, but it wasn't until 2 months later, when Katie asked Andrew to her fall sorority formal, that we took the next step. In May 2017 we made things official, and we've never looked back. We are forever grateful for Auburn Marketing 101 and that shot of whiskey for giving Andrew the courage to meet his future wife.
