Made of Honor
Korbin and Renee met at Western Michigan University's summer music camp SEMINAR in the summer of 2009. Fate brought them together again during their bachelors, and even their masters degrees. The two were rather inseperable, yet with plenty of personal space at all times. Korbin has been known to joke about being physically constructed of honor in regards to this wedding, so we are delighted to present him as the Made of Honor in the wedding party.
Best Man
The friend which started it all, Jarad originally introduced Renee and Josh in a chilly Michigan December practice space late one evening. Renee met Jarad her freshman year of high school, where Jarad took no qualms immediately helping her musical growth through 2am music theory lessons at Steak'n'Shake (that she promptly forgot). Jarad and Josh became friends during their high school years, but truly began to flourish around 2010 as they worked and lived together for four years. The two are known for their long, educational, and quite frankly entertaining debates with each other. Josh has elected to give the title "Best Man" to all of his groomsmen, for he quite frankly finds all of them to be the "best."
Bridesmaid
Kailin and Renee became friends during their tumultuous middle school years, so it is safe to say they've seen each other at their bests and worsts. Known for copious quoting of cartoons and comedy sketches, these two have also been known to break out into a song and dance or two. Kailin's joyous and enthusiastic supportive energies make for a truly heartwarming friendship that has grown and thrived over the years.
Best Man
Josh and Josh became best friends during their childhoods for the obvious reason, they both have the same first name. Frequently referred to by his last name, Roscoe has persisted through the years to remain one of Josh's absolute best friends. The two are found discussing football (generally the Detroit Lions, occasionally the video game Madden, but always with robust energy), how to best conquer Europe (in the video game Europa... generally), and otherwise calling each other whenever there's a dull moment. The childhood bond never managed to fade as the two consider each other closer to family than friends. Josh K. has elected to give the title "Best Man" to all of his groomsmen, for he quite frankly finds all of them to be the "best."
Bridesmaid
Renee and Brittany met during Renee's first year of graduate school at Wichita State University. The two were thrown together being double cast in the school's production of "Light in the Piazza." Renee had no previous experience with such a large role, let alone in a new city where all she had was her now fiancé and cat. Brittany could not have made the transition any easier, and the two continued on with their friendship, hitting many career milestones around the same time as the other. Brittany's calm and sneaky sense of humor continues to delight anyone who may chance upon an encounter with her.
Best Man
Jesse and Josh first met shortly after Jesse's birth - and the two have remained close ever since. The two brothers enjoyed many a movie night, game night, and other countless times together throughout their youths. Josh attributes much of his heart to Jesse, so it would honestly be unfair to get married without his inclusion. Josh has elected to give the title "Best Man" to all of his groomsmen, for he quite frankly finds all of them to be the "best."

Officiant
Renee and Josh chose Pastor Ruth Moerdyk as their officiant, as Ruth has played a large though not always seen part of Renee's life - which of course has translated into Renee and Josh's relationship. The couple could not possibly be more grateful for Ruth's wisdom and guidance, always properly tempered with a just the right amount of levity and humor.
