We tied the knot in NYC. Now, Let's party!

Sam & Paul's love story is truly one of the miracles and magic of God and fate. They met in 5th grade at Jamison Middle School. They were friendly in high school. Paul even claims Sam came to a party at his house back then. They went to the University of Texas together. But life took them in different directions in their 20s: Paul to Houston to finish undergrad at the University of Houston and then Optometry school at U of H as well & Sam to New York City for Teach For America and graduate school at Hunter College. When COVID hit in March of 2020, Sam came home, after having pneumonia, for "spring break." By the end of April, Paul and Sam reconnected (thx Bumble) and were inseparable after their first date at Christia Adair Park in Pearland. Two weeks at home quickly turned into five months and somehow Sam convinced Paul to move to NYC. On October 17, 2020, Paul moved to join Sam in the big city, and on December 6, 2020, Paul popped the question amidst the Christmas Tree lights at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel.
