Teresa and Adam share a modern love story. They first matched on the dating app Hinge, where Adam caught her attention with pictures of his parents’ dogs, engaging conversation, and a touch of charm. They met for their first date in February of 2022, the same week Teresa had planned several other dates to meet new people. Adam was the last date to get his shot. They met for drinks at a trendy Mexican restaurant in Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza called Zocalo, and Adam quickly showed her that he was the best option of the bunch... and the tallest. They immediately found common ground on all sorts of things including their love of dogs and disdain for the University of Kansas. At the end of the night, they both sensed they had found someone special, though the journey ahead remained uncertain. The time they have spent dating holds so many great memories. Between Kenny Chesney concerts, ski trips to Colorado, Chiefs Super Bowl victories, and lots of walks with their dog, Remy, it's hard to pick a favorite. They continue to surround themselves with family and friends, making those relationships stronger each day. Being in Kansas City, the Fortino family wasted no time getting to know Adam. He has been invited over for many dinners of smoked meats, and birthday parties to share laughs and Teresa’s Mom’s homemade cakes. Teresa has also grown very close to the Klein family after numerous trips to St. Louis and Nashville to meet all of Adam’s relatives, and its clear that she’s a perfect fit. Teresa and Adam began renting a house together with Remy in July of 2023. They have since learned the joys of yardwork and are enjoying every bit of it. It wasn’t long before Adam proposed to Teresa at Stonehaven, his family’s farm in St. Louis, and the rest is history. They are thankful for the support of their families during the months of wedding planning that followed and are looking forward to celebrating the beginning of their life together with all of their closest friends and family.
