Welcome Train Ride

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Mountain Casual

We invite everyone to join us on an open-air train ride through the mountains. The ride will take you north along the Arkansas River Valley, before it raises up off the valley floor so that you will have some spectacular views of Freemont Pass and the two tallest peaks in Colorado, Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert. The train will start boarding at 5:00 p.m. and depart promptly at 5:15 p.m. The train will return to the station around 7:45 p.m. There will be pizza and beer/wine during the ride. Bring a jacket, as it can get chilly as the train gains elevation. We will be performing temperature checks using thermal scanners prior to boarding the train. After the ride, we invite you to join us at our favorite pizza place tucked in the mountains. There will be light bites and drinks served from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at High Mountain Pies.

Wedding

3:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Mountain Casual

In true Colorado fashion, this is a wedding you have to "hike" to. To get to the ceremony/reception site, there will be a short, one-mile hike with only a 300 ft elevation gain on a wide, dirt path. The hike ends in a beautiful wildflower-filled meadow overlooking Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert. Wear layers and comfortable shoes -- it will get chilly at night! Please start hiking in at 4:00 p.m., so the ceremony (festivities!) can start at 4:30 p.m. Buses to the venue will leave at 3:30 p.m. More information will be provided closer to the date. While we love little ones, the reception is for adults only. The ceremony, dinner, and reception will be outside. We will be handing out hand sanitizer and masks for the short, 15-minute bus ride.
