Union South
Highly reccomended for in between ceremony and reception! Be warned, like everywhere in Madison, parking is limited. Perfect for grabbing a drink, grab and go food, and to feel the Badger spirit. There's even a bowling alley in the basement!
Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. - Hilldale
This is where we had our first date! Come for dinner, stay for the pool, darts, and house brewed beer.
UW Arboretum
Take in all of the natural beauty the Arboretum has to offer. We took our engagement pictures here in winter but it is even lovelier in the summer!
Wisconsin State Capitol
The capitol is a gorgeous sight to see and is open to simply walk in and explore on your own. Great for photos. The farmer's market occurs every summer Saturday morning at the capitol. From there you can take a walk down State Street, grab a cup of coffee, stop at the art museum, or any of the numerous shops and restaurants.
Comedy Club on State
We often go to the comedy club with our friends on date nights. Shows run on Friday and Saturday nights.
Flix Brewhouse
If you get in a day early, consider seeing a movie. Flix Brewhouse is a brewery/movie theater. The have dine in theater seating which makes movie viewing a true luxury. All of their beer is truly delicious.
Hilldale Mall
There are a ton of shops, restaurants, and things to see at Hilldale. We spend many weekends walking through this fun outdoor mall.
