We are getting married!

We met in August 2013 through Lydia's old roomates in San Francisco when we were just 20 years old. Stephen had graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Napa and was looking to make connections in SF. Since Stephen is natural at making friends, he decided to approach a few collage students from the same college Lydia got her undergraduate degree from - Academy of Art University. The two finally met through these friends that beautiful day at Dolores Park. Stephen invited Lydia and friends to his apartment where he made gourmet mac and cheese paired with a cheap wine. The two hit it off that night and the rest is history.

Although Stephen wanted to propose after 1 year dating, Lydia wanted to first finish college and graduate school before getting married. After catching the garter from our friend Marie's beautiful wedding, Stephen was inspired and began his planning. With the help of our good friend Victoria, they picked out a ring. On Christmas Eve 2021, Stephen popped the question at the Moulin in Chenon, France where we will be celebrating our love with friends and family on September 2nd, 2023.
