Tyler and I met while in PT school at UNMC. Tyler was in his first year and I was in my second. Our first get-together was shooting hoops at the school gym. Tyler won the shooting game, but in competitive fashion, I turned around and beat him in ping pong. We started spending a lot of time together in the following weeks to months including walking on the Pedestrian Bridge and eventually meeting each other's friends and families. Tyler asked me to be his girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2023 and the rest is history. We both graduated from PT school and have enjoyed many other of life's adventures together throughout the past 3 years. Tyler proposed on September 5, 2025 in downtown Omaha by the lake and fountains, which is somewhere we had spent time walking and playing on teeter-totters a couple years before!
