Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The wedding is taking place at John and Marlene's home in Redding, CT. The ceremony will be held in the backyard, and the reception will be held under a tent in the side yard area.

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

Visit the tab titled "RSVP" and enter your information. We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 15th.

Cocktail hour will start at 4:30-5:30, dinner will begin at 6.

Since we’re aiming for a cozy, intimate celebration, we’re keeping the guest list small and inviting only children who are immediate family. Thank you for understanding!

We will not be serving alcohol, but you’re welcome to bring beer or wine if you’d like a little something to sip!

You can park on the street/in the cul-de-sac on Deacon Abbott Lane South.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In mid-October, Redding, CT will likely experience mild, cool weather with average temperatures in the mid-50s/low 60s. We suggest bringing a sweater or jacket, but if it is unexpectedly cold, we will be renting heaters for the tent.

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are requesting a completely unplugged ceremony, so we ask that you silence and put away your phones away during the ceremony and do not take any pictures. We will have plenty to share with you from our photographer!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’ve decided to forgo a traditional gift registry since our small apartment and storage unit are already filled to the brim! Instead, we’ve created a Honeymoon & Future Home Fund, which you can find under the “Registry” tab on this site. Your generosity will help us enjoy our honeymoon and, down the road, furnish our future home :)
