Our story didn't start with a lightning bolt; it started with a shared mission. We first met in Aurora, Colorado, while serving in Americorps NCCC. Back then, we were just teammates in gray uniforms, focused on service and the next project. When the program ended abruptly due to COVID, we went our separate ways, but fate wasn't finished with us yet. Two years later, life pulled us back together, and suddenly, we saw each other in a whole new light . It turns out we didn't just find our calling in Colorado - we found the person we were meant to be with all along.
