How can I sum up my own and Klara’s friendship in one paragraph? Klara has always been a huge supporter for me, or almost always. I first met Klara in the winter of 2020. I did not like her very much at first to be honest. However, upon getting to know her, I realized how incredible she was and I could not help being drawn to her. Her and I drifted apart shortly after we got into toxic relationships, however, after breaking them off two days apart, we opened up to each other about everything. Not only our struggles in the relationship, but our struggles in life. We leaned on each other and helped each other to stand on our own two feet again. She really cares about and loves everyone around her, which will make her an amazing mother and wife. Klara has always been a go-getter, and has never let anyone change her mind about anything. She always forms her opinions and beliefs based on her own research. I have never met someone so dedicated to knowing the truth. Because she spent time with me, she also spent time with my brother. Because she liked him, I kept encouraging her to talk to him, maybe shoot her shot. She was nervous because she was leaving for college soon, however, love knows no bounds.When they started dating, she called and told me around 1 or 2 AM. If you ask any of my friends here, they will tell you I was jumping up and down with joy. I was, and still am so excited for the future. Klara, my best friend, my support, my encouragement, and soon to be my sister.

Jerry Aherns is a fantastic fantastic friend ever since we were little kids he has always been a joy to hang out with whether that be on the playground or gaming. He is also a very responsible guy balancing time for his work, school, and Klara ( leaving him with less time to play video games with me )

Klara and Jerry’s relationship has been beautiful to see unfold. It started out as a healthy friendship. Throughout their friendship, they watched each other go through struggles and trials. They cheered each other on, supported each other, and did a lot of growing up together in many different ways. When Klara’s faith journey started last spring, Jerry was right there to support and encourage Klara. Now, as their relationship has grown into a romantic relationship, Klara and Jerry are a light shining into the darkness as a testimony to God’s grace and love for all. You can see just by looking at them together that there is a great respect and love for each other. Their deep love for God and their desire to honor Him is the firm foundation which they have chosen to build their future lives on together. They know that marriage is not easy, but they go into the unknown hand in hand and with the peace of the Lord on their shoulders. I cannot wait to see where the Lord takes them and how they will grow in this new season of life together as husband and wife.

I’ve had the pleasure of Jerry’s company each day at work for almost two years. I’ve seen him come into his own as an electrician and a young man. I’ve also been witness to how much has changed since Klara has entered Jerry’s life and what her energy and sense of adventure has brought to it. Now talk of the future and an eagerness to get there pervades our conversations. These two have a unique opportunity: to preserve their youthfulness no matter their age, to stay truthful to each other and themselves, and to keep their lives focused around their love for each other. If they can hold on to these things, then they will have everything that they need.

We were also very young when we got married and know the joys and challenges of growing, maturing, and figuring out life together as a young couple. One time when Klara was a little girl we had a brief husband/wife moment, hugging in the kitchen as the kids ran circles around the breakfast bar. Klara came to an abrupt stop as she rounded the corner and saw us, then shouted (because Klara has always had one volume…LOUD! 😂) “Someday I’m going to marry someone who looks at me the way dad looks at mom!” Then was off running circles again. Klara, you found that in Jerry. From our experience, when you find someone who looks at you like that, never let them go and always give them reason to continue to look at you that way. ❤️ Best wishes to both of you as you joyfully and lovingly live life together!
