FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While your presence is the most important thing to us, we would love for you to to dress in Garden Formal attire. Please see the "Dress Code" tab for more info.

Question

Who can I contact for shuttle arrangements, allergies, and anything not listed on the website?

Answer

Prior to the wedding, you may contact Klara via email at klara.danielson@gmail.com. The day of the wedding, please direct all communications to our day-of coordinator, Maria, via WhatsApp at +34 633 43 80 24.

Question

RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than April 8, 2026 by using the code on your formal invitation, or by clicking the RSVP tab. If you do not respond by the deadline, we will assume you are not attending; your presence will be missed! If you are not attending, please still let us know by RSVPing "no"; this will help us plan accordingly.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

No, our wedding is child-free. While we know it can be difficult to be away from your little ones, we encourage you to see this occasion as a night-out: you deserve it!

Question

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm sharp. We recommend you arrive 30 minutes in advance to ensure you are seated on time. There will be light refreshments and music to enjoy while you wait.

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes, the venue has ample on-site parking. However, because the reception will run late and there is an open bar, we recommend you take the shuttle provided. If you choose to drive, please drink responsibly.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to/from the venue?

Answer

Yes, we have arranged for a shuttle to pick people up at the following stops (with corresponding times): -14.30 h FIRST PICK UP: Pelai, 38 -14.40 h SECOND PICK UP: Av. Diagonal, 355 -14.50 h THIRD PICK UP: Gal·la Placidia (bus stop). We tried to select stops as close as possible to the most number of people; while most stops are within 5-10 minutes walking distance of everyone’s accommodations, some people are staying a little further away. If this is you, you may wish to uber to the closest stop. It is imperative that you arrive at the stop of your choice ON TIME (ideally early), as shuttle buses in Barcelona are only permitted to stop for short periods of time. If you are late, the shuttle will not wait for you and you will have to secure another means of transportation to the venue. The shuttle bus will return to pick everyone up at 12am (at the end of the reception) and stop at the same three locations as above. If you have any questions about the shuttle stops the day of the wedding, please contact our wedding coordinator.

Question

Can I bring a Plus One?

Answer

Only those guests specified on the formal invitation are welcome to attend. If you received a plus one, your invitation will state "[Name] + Guest" and a plus one will appear under your name when you RSVP. We thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

While we appreciate your enthusiasm for capturing our special day, our photographer and videographer have us covered. As such, we ask that you put away your cell phones and other devices until the ceremony is over. Our wonderful officiant, Tugba, will remind you on the day of and has been known to screech like a banshee at any non-compliers. We will gladly share the professional photos once the gallery is ready!

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour (1.5 hrs) with appetizers, food stations, and an open bar. Then, we will have a seated, family-style dinner consisting of bread, salads, and pastas. For dessert, we opted for a gelato cart instead of a sweets table, partly to pay homage to our Italian heritage, partly because Alex is celiac, and partly because anyone who knows Klara well knows she is not a dessert person (with the exception of gelato, cheesecake, and chocolate chip cookies).

Question

What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

We take allergies very seriously, and so does our caterer. We will send an email after the RSVP deadline to all guests attending. When you reply, please list your allergies (e.g., nuts, gluten, shellfish, etc) or special diet (e.g., vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, celiac, kosher, halal, etc). Our caterer will be preparing allergen-friendly options and needs to know at least 2 weeks in advance. For those with severe allergies, we strongly encourage you to bring an epi-pen.

Question

What's the weather typically like?

Answer

The weather in Sant Feliu de Codines, the town in which our venue is located, is typically nice in June. The average high is 26 degrees celcius, with a low of 17 at night. The sun sets around 9:30pm. As the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, we recommend you wear sunscreen. Refreshments, fans, and parasols will be provided. For those of you who plan on exploring Barcelona before or after the festivities, the high at the beginning of June is around 26 degrees, while the end of June can see temperatures as hot as 35.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

If it rains, the ceremony will still take place outdoors in front of the castle. Umbrellas will be provided. Once the ceremony is over, the cocktail hour, reception and dancing will take place in the halls of the castle.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift we could receive. We know that destination weddings can be expensive for guests, and it means the world that you are expending your valuable time and money to celebrate with us on our special day. While we do not expect gifts, if you are financially able, a cash gift is preferred. Otherwise, a heartfelt card would be greatly appreciated!
