Also known as Toad, lil J, J. Lo, jolans, or shortie—Jessie is Alyssa's much tanner, younger sister. Since they grew up without cable TV, Alyssa and Jessie spent lots of time playing together and created some really imaginative games, all of which were variations Alyssa telling Jessie exactly what to do...until she got too old for that. Jessie was the one that gave Alyssa her one nickname that stuck, "B". While they look nothing alike, they share the same laugh and sense of humor, and a love for make up/hair products, fancy craft cocktails and of course spending time together. Jessie always knows the newest music, and makes Alyssa feel like an old lady.

Best friends since 4th grade, Alyssa and Lizzie are two peas in a pod. Just about their entire childhood was spent together. Alyssa used to bike ride over to Lizzie's house to eat her family's Chinese food and Town Spa dinners, watch cable TV and swim in her pool. Their friendship has withstood distance and time–and countless stupid ideas (which they still like to laugh about).

Alyssa met Allie the first month of freshman year. They lived in the same dorm, on the same floor, but somehow it took them an entire semester to become friends. Since their days at UMass, Alyssa and Allie haven't lived more than two blocks from each other until Alyssa's recent move to LA. Alyssa likes to take responsibility for Allie's new found appreciation for foods other than mac n cheese (or really all things cheese)!

Kelly Gibson

Alyssa and Kelly met in college—a fellow Masshole in a house full of New Yorkers. Kelly from the North Shore and Alyssa from the South Shore, they alternated making the hour drive to see each during winter breaks and summers, and soon knew all of each other's home friends and family members. Kelly is the ultimate wedding maven and has answered all of Alyssa's wedding related questions and concerns.

Carly Speyer

Alyssa and Carly met back in day camp, but didn't truly become friends until Alyssa cornered Carly in the laundry room of their freshman dorm and made things really awkward by bringing that up. Luckily Carly wasn't creeped out by this and the two immediately became friends. A Bar Mitzvah dancer in a past life, one of Carly's duties at the wedding will be to help make sure Alyssa is dancing on beat.

Elyse Schultz

Alyssa and Elyse met in the Student Union at UMass, when Elyse made fun of Alyssa's backpack (it really did look like a turtle shell). The mockery that day foreshadowed a decade long friendship full of jokes, laughs and pranks. Elyse and Alyssa lived together three consecutive years in college—Elyse borrowing Alyssa's clothes and Alyssa reaping the benefits of Elyse's TV. While Eric is Alyssa's #1, Elyse will always be her #2.
