If you are traveling from out of town, YES! A round trip Uber/Lyft from Atlanta Airport to Dahlonega, GA could run over $300. Additionally, we have heard that Uber/Lyft in Dahlonega is also very spotty. You're better off with your own ride!
We have been told by the venue that Uber/Lyft can be pretty spotty (ie: long wait times, cancelled rides, expensive). You're better off with your own ride!
Georgia weather likes to keep everyone humble, so we recommend checking the forecast before traveling. :) The ceremony will be held on a covered outdoor terrace with heaters, and the reception will be indoors. Think: winter winery, candlelight, dramatic outerwear opportunities.
Relaxed yet festive cocktail hour. Location is TBD but will be in Downtown Dahlonega near Montaluce Winery. Join us from 4–6 PM for drinks, light bites, and mingling before the main event. We intentionally kept the evening casual (and not too late) so everyone has plenty of time afterward to explore downtown Dahlonega, which basically transforms into a Hallmark movie during Christmas season. Attire is festive, elevated, and comfortable. Think cozy chic: boots, sweaters, leather jackets, long coats, dark denim, knit dresses, etc.
Formal Attire | Black Attire Encouraged We’re leaning all the way into the mood of the evening: candlelight, winter glamour, old-world romance, and slightly dramatic entrances. Guests are encouraged to wear black formalwear and have fun with it. Think sleek silhouettes, statement jewelry, velvet, satin, tuxedos (welcome, never required), opera gloves, vintage-inspired glamour, excellent tailoring, and “meeting for martinis in 1970s Italy” energy. Less “ugly Christmas sweater,” more “European dinner party at midnight.” Outerwear is entirely up to you, but faux/real fur, long coats, leather gloves, and generally fabulous winter attire are very much welcome. Most importantly: wear something that makes you feel incredible.
While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of a small number of immediate family children above a certain age who will be participating in the festivities. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, enjoy the evening, have an extra martini, and fully lean into the candlelit dinner party energy with us.
