While buzzing along with our lives, we met on a dating app, Bumble in mid-November 2018. Our first date was fun & light hearted but it was our 2nd date where we built our connection. We met at Parlour Bar for cocktails/burgers while quoting Christmas Vacation and laughing at our stupid humor. We both knew having the ability to laugh together & share a goofy sense of humor was a good start. From there, we celebrated all the Christmas activities & continued to get to know each other. Over time, we introduced close friends, family & parents and understood each other’s backgrounds, shared values of work ethic, respect & integrity. As we continued to experience a lot of firsts together (first vacation together, first fight, first talk of marriage), our relationship was flourishing, happy & naturally growing into a loving relationship and ready for the next chapter of living together. We signed a lease in February 2020 for July move in. Little did we know, we’d be spending 24/7 together during the pandemic. It was during this time we really built our home, our lifestyle and got to understand each other - A precious time where happy hours were enjoyed while walking the dog & enjoying wine by the fire. We’ve supported each other through all the ups & downs life has handed us and laughed at all the goofy/stupid moments as well. We've mutually taken pride in "raising" our golden retriever, Kingsley since she's the queen of our household. Through all the amazing moments in our 3 years together, our Engagement week was unforgettable. Russ proposed to Kk on vacation at the family dinner in Florida. We spent the whole week in FL celebrating our engagement, sitting by the pool, BBQs with her family, Universal studios, and living in the moment. With a year of preparing for the wedding, we cannot wait to celebrate with all our guests & spend quality time with each of you!
