Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

It depends on your plans! The closest airport to our venue is New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) in Newburgh, NY. We have no experience with this airport but it's an option! If the plan is to land and head straight to the venue, Albany is also a good option for folks wanting to avoid New York City. It's about equidistant to the venue as the city is. If you're looking to spend any time in New York City, our favorite airport is Laguardia; it's the newest and very easy to navigate. JFK is under construction at the moment, but is a perfectly fine option. Please keep in mind that traffic from JFK can be thick. Newark International Airport in New Jersey is also be an option; however, its reputation has slipped in recent years due to frequent cancelations and delays so it's something to keep in mind.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

We recommend it, unfortunately no matter where you fly into there will be some driving involved and car services (Uber, Lyft) are hard to come by outside of the city.

Where should I stay?

Answer

It's completely up to you! We have reserved a hotel block in Newburgh (Visit our Travel page for more information) that we will run shuttles to and from; however, we want you to stay where you feel most comfortable. There are several hotels in nearby towns (New Paltz, Newburgh) and Air BnB is also an option. Wherever you choose to stay, we do recommend booking as soon as you can due to the holiday weekend.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! For a safe ride home after the reception, we have arranged for a shuttle service to pick up and drop off guests from our designated hotel blocks.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Audrey's farmhouse has parking available on premise.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Get fancy with us! Summer semi-formal attire requested. The ceremony is outdoors in a paved courtyard, so dress for the weather and choose comfortable footwear for a night on the barn dance floor!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We've put a lot of thought into our guest list and, due to venue capacity, we're only able to accommodate the specific guests named on each invitation. We're so grateful you'll be there to celebrate with us!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little people! After much deliberation, we've decided to keep our celebration adults-only (18+) so that all of our guests — including you, the parents! — can relax and enjoy a rare night off. We hope this gives you a great excuse for a fun date night.
