Zach is born and raised in Bergen County New Jersey where he co-owns and operates a painting and wallpapering business alongside his dad Joe. Whereas Kjeirstin grew up in the heart of the Midwest just outside of Minneapolis and moved to New York City for her job in corporate beauty at L'Oreal shortly after college. 

They met almost three years ago at their church (kings) which was located in Chinatown at the time and were friends first before they started dating. It didn't take long before they realized they had each found in each other the spouse they had long prayed for and are so grateful to God for bringing them together.
