We suggest arriving to our venue by 2:30pm as our ceremony will start promptly at 3:15pm and we would hate for you to miss the most important part of the day!
The ceremony and reception will be held at Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, CA. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting) while the reception will be indoors. Guests will have access to the outdoor lawn area until 10pm.
Right now there is not. I’d suggest taking an Uber or Lyft to the venue. We will be serving wine and beer and want to make sure everyone gets back safely. That being said there is ample free parking at the venue as well.
We would love to see our family and friends get fancy for us! We are requesting a semi formal dress code for our evening. Please, no jeans. Ladies- be mindful of your choice of shoes as most of the terrain will be dirt and it will be standing ONLY for our ceremony due to the location. Also don’t forget to bring a sweater for the afternoon as it can get cold in the evening no matter what time of year.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
We love your little ones- we really do. However, due to many factors including limited space, we respectfully request no children under 16 years old. We hope you understand and enjoy a night out!
We addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
You will be greatly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.
