It all started at White Station High School in Biology class. Akilah and K’Jay were given an assignment to “make a baby”, (a genetic baby folks, not a real one) and Akilah chose K’Jay as her “baby’s dad”. After spending time together in class, and hearing the whispers that they liked one another from a matchmaker friend, K’Jay decided to ask Akilah on a date. The two went to Ching’s Hot Wings, and the rest is history. After dating through the remainder of high school and throughout college, the two returned home, and decided to make it last forever on December 8th 2023.
