Our Story
We met in 2007 on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University, introduced by chance and mutual friends. At the time, we didn't necessarily get along, but there was a kind of tension between us, the sort that feels like disagreement but quietly hints at something else waiting underneath.
Life moved forward, as it always does. We kept in touch, drifted apart, built careers, met other people. Still, in the background of everything, there was Danielle. A familiar name. A constant thought.
In the summer of 2021, I reached out without knowing what would come of it. She answered. What began as conversation turned into laughter, then into something that felt steady and certain. We traveled, we learned each other again, and slowly realized this story had never really ended.
On March 19, 2025, our anniversary, I asked her to be my wife. It wasn’t just a proposal, but the continuation of everything we had already built together through friendship, time, and a love that will last.
