Audubon Zoo

City Park

Walk through oak trees, ride bikes, play putt putt at City Putt, check out the free sculpture garden, or tour the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Jackson Square Cathedral

Iconic St. Louis Cathedral and Andrew Jackson monument. The Louisiana Purchase was signed in the Cabildo (building to the left of the cathedral) in 1803.

Mardi Gras World

Visit Mardi Gras World to learn the history of Mardi Gras and see artists working on the Krewe of Orpheus floats. Tours are $22 for adults and they offer a free shuttle from multiple locations.

New Orleans Oyster Festival

Held at Woldenburg Park the first weekend in June. Food from local restaurants and live local bands.

The street car runs along Canal St. (Red) and Saint Charles Ave. (Green). Each ride is $1.25 or a 3-Day Jazzy pass with unlimited rides is available at any Walgreens for $9.
