FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please mail your envelope by the 1st of August. Earlier is better, though!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, we won't have any transportation to and from the ceremony, only the reception! Please let us know if you need a ride, though, and we may be able to help you find a new friend to carpool with.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at both locations. However, we anticipate parking at the church filling up so try to carpool when possible. For the reception, make sure to park on the correct side of the banquet center (the sunset side) as there will be another reception in the other side of the building.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a Zola registry, which helps us keep track of what gifts everyone has gotten for us. However, we are appreciative of any gifts that you may give us from any source!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive around 2:45 PM- we anticipate a packed house and want to make sure everyone can be seated on time! We will start very shortly after 3.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to be comfortable during our wedding, so wear what you wish! If you want guidance: We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress, a jumpsuit, or dressy separates. More or less formal will also work, though, and these are just meant to be helpful suggestions.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure that we know if you have a serious food allergy (or a preference) and we will work with our venue to make sure the food is safe. There is a spot to mark this down in your RSVP.

Question

What should I do between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception?

Answer

To make sure we can eat on time, we are having a bit of a longer gap between the ceremony and reception. During this time, we encourage you to take your time at the church and get to know your fellow wedding guests. However, you can arrive a bit early to the reception and spend time playing yard games in the outdoor patio space. Drinks and hors d'ouvres will not be served until closer to 5 PM when cocktail hour begins. The folks at Stratigos will be happy to serve you when the time comes! Guests riding the shuttle from the hotel are encouraged to check the schedule to make sure they can catch the first or second ride over and make it in time for cocktail hour, if possible.
