Blessed beyond measure

I didn't think I would be as nervous as I actually ended up being. I knew what the answer would be before I asked, but this was the moment that would start the rest of our lives together. I took Kiya out to a nice dinner and afterwards I told her we would have dessert on the beach as a sunset picnic. I walked her out to the beach and this is where the nerves really began. The photographer I had hired flinched as we passed her and moved on to the spot I had chosen. The path to the beach was tree covered and opened up to a little sailboat yard on the beach. I chose to get down on one knee just before the grass met the white sand. The best part, she said yes. - Brett
