Portland, Maine is one of our favorite spots. Great food, walkable, and just an hour north of Wentworth. Eat at Central Provisions, Eventide, Izakaya Minato, the Portland Hunt & Alpine Club, Otto Pizza, and of course Maps! Rockport, MA is (sort of) on the way up from Boston and a great little pit stop. Go to Roy Moore's Fish Shack for oysters, lobster and chowder on the water or head to the Market Restaurant in Annsiquam.
No, young children are not invited to the ceremony or any of the official events on Friday or Saturday. You are welcome to have them with you through the weekend to enjoy the resort, but please coordinate your own childcare. The hotel can help with babysitters as well.
