Matron of Honor
We first met in kindergarten when Kit needed a line dancing partner and Heather volunteered from the classroom over… and while this origination story is told multiple ways, we have continued to be friends ever since! Heather lives in Fort Collins with her husband (Jason), 2 wonderful kids, a pack of dogs, and flock of chickens.
Co-Best Man
Alex's oldest brother and one of Alex's biggest mentors. He has traveled all the way to Colorado from his residence in the Czech Republic were he lives with his wife Marcela, and 2 dogs.
Bridesmaid
Maggie and Kit first met during their freshman year fall camp at Northern State University. Maggie is one of a number of NSU soccer girls that have descended on this wedding. Maggie and Kit became quick friends between fall camp and their dorm rooms being right next to each other. Many shenanigans were had, and most cannot be talked about :)
Co-Best Man
Alex and Tim have been friends since high school. Though they lived a few houses away, their dad's never met until they were working at a mining site in Kazakstan! Tim was also suspect #1 for Alex's scavenger hunt that took Kit all over Denver during rush hour - but ended with a proposal! Tim lives in Littleton with his wife (Val), beautiful daughter Mia, and dog*. *Tim's dog's name cannot be said around Kit & Alex's dogs because she is their best friend, and will wind them up for play time.
Bridesman
Steve is Catherine's twin brother. They have been friends for as long as they can remember, and members of the "not-oldest" sibling powerhouse. Steve also has a lot of dirt on Catherine so nothing embarrassing will be written here. Steve resides in Longmont, CO and has an exciting tech career, a new house, and recently became the proud dad to a rescued boxer named Mick!
Groomswoman
Mollie is very special to Alex, she is his best friend from his time at the University of Idaho. This is where he broke out of his "shy-shell" and became the outgoing and loud guy we all know and love today! Mollie has traveled here from her home in Seattle, WA where she lives with her prize-winning cat!
Bridesmaid
Tuomi and Kit have also been friends since college. Tuomi is also another NSU soccer girl, and is gracing us with her presence from Alaska! Tuomi works as an RN in Alaska where she lives with her daughter. Tuomi has been a true friend to Kit for many years. Sometimes lots of time passes between there phone calls/texts but they can always pick up where they left off and have a great time!
Groomsman
Jon is a super special friend for Alex. They originally met through Alex's brother, Scott, but have been good freinds ever since. Jon is also causing plenty of debauchery in the stands of Broncos Stadium, hosting great house parties, and being an all around great guy. Jon is also lucky enough to be married to Kit & Alex's wedding officiant!
Bridesmaid
Nemo (as Kit calls her), is another NSU soccer girl. Nemo has an outrageous and contagious laugh, which is one of the first things Kit recalls about meeting Nemo... Nemo and her fall camp roommate (Summer.. who also has a dangerously contagious laugh) kept the entire floor awake one night just laughing at each others laughs. Nemo is coming to us from Phoenix, AZ where she works as a teacher and lives with her dog.
Groomsman
Ben and Alex have been friends since before high school. They have remained close despite distance and all of life's ups and downs... they really have grown up together! Also, in case you are wondering, Ben is 6'8". Ben lives in South Aurora, CO with his wife Meghan, daughter McKenna, and dog Abbie.
Bridesmaid
Leann and Kit met their first day of nursing school, and connected over a near death experience while carpooling to school. Though not always in the same classes, they remained close throughout nursing school and beyond. Leann lives in Parker, CO with her husband (Trevor), 3 kids, and dog.
Groomsman
Kyle and Alex first met when Kyle was 3 years old, and Alex was his amazing "Manny" next door! Alex also served as his "life coach" and mentor while growing up! Despite their age difference, Alex and Kyle are still close often talking sports and the next big move that the Broncos or other sports teams should make but won't.
Ushers
Mike is Kit's oldest brother, and fellow "un-middle" sibling. Mike has too much dirt on Catherine to write anything embarrassing here... that is all. Mike lives in Berthod, CO with his new wife, Casey, her daughter, and an array of animals.
Officiant
Sarah Lehmann is a saint and the most wonderful human being we know. She is kind and generous, and choosing her to be our officiant was one of the easiest decisions we have made! Alex met Sarah through her now husband, Jon, and they have all been friends ever since! When Kit and Sarah first met at a Lehmann soiree, she was very welcoming and really helped Kit feel at home. Together, Kit and Sarah have the privilege of babysitting Alex & Jon at Broncos games, God love 'em.
