Parking is not allowed at the venue. Vendors & wedding party only. Guests will park be at True Life Church located at 600 Seventh Street West, Whitefish. Rocky Mountain Transportation will be picking up guests at one or two predetermined times to transport them from the church to the venue. Please be timely arriving as the bus must be kept on schedule. Parking at the church will be on the blacktop. The grassy area to the right (facing church) will also be utilized and will be roped off so as not to allow parking on the neighbor’s property. Another grassy area directly in front of the children’s playground may also be available for parking depending on the ground being dry. Please park in a manner that allows all vehicles to exit without being blocked in. We understand that guests will choose to leave at varying times throughout the evening. The first trip will most likely be departing the church at 3:30 p.m. to arrive at the venue to drop off guests, then return to the church for another group to be picked up by 4:00. There is ongoing construction on Highway 93 that causes delays so be aware the trip may take longer than normal. Please check back on this website to this FAQ as times may change due to the construction schedule on the day of the ceremony. After the ceremony/reception we will have a 15 passenger van and driver to shuttle guests back to the church parking lot at ½ hour intervals depending on needs of guests wishing to depart early. The shuttle will be available until a little after 10:00 to get all of our guests safely returned to their vehicles. Please exercise safety and common sense and do NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. We can arrange for your vehicle to be returned to the venue if you want to catch a sober ride home. You can pick up your vehicle the following day, Sunday, at Whitefish Outpost. Church services will be on Sunday so we cannot have multiple vehicles left in the church parking lot overnight.
Our wedding is a formal outdoor event. This means long dresses or tea length dresses, pantsuits for women, and suits of any color with ties for men. As the ceremony and reception area are on a greenbelt, ladies' and gentlemen's shoe choices will be key, especially since the ground could be soft. No jeans please, dress to impress!
We would welcome and appreciate any monetary gift that might allow us to save for our future home. We understand you may not wish to make a monetary gift. This is absolutely fine! We just truly appreciate you choosing to spend your time celebrating with us at our wedding. We will have an envelope box at the reception to accept your cards with cash or checks, or you can make an online gift using Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or Apple Cash to an account that Kit's mom has set up for this purpose. Again, we appreciate the gift of your presence at our ceremony and reception and we hope you truly enjoy the joining of the Young Bird and Anderson families!
