During Summer Break from Illinois College. Anthony had asked Lisa out on a date to Chicago as a fun half way point for the two of them. He had the whole date planned. He would take the Amtrak train into Union Station and she would drive in and meet him. First, we went to the Museum of Science and Industry where Anthony met Sue for the first time! Next, was the Sears Tower (not Willis ;)) for a view of a lifetime. We took the elevator to the 103rd floor and saw Chicago from a totally different perspective. It was here where Anthony said to Lisa, "You look out and it's endless! It seems like it never ends and it seems from here that you can conquer it all! That's what I want to do with you, I want to conquer this entire world with us side by side. Will you be my girlfriend?" After this very eventful day it was time for some goood pizza and off to Giordano's. Can't get enough of the Chicago drool!

Anthony and Lisa were on their way to Starved Rock to meet up with Phil and Sarah Irace to congratulate them on their recent engagement (or at least that's what Anthony was telling Lisa). They get to Starved Rock and Anthony is determined to find the white rock look out spot where they had a picture taken years before. Finally, after finding the cliff and dripping in sweat, they take couple photos and photos of Phil and Sarah but then Anthony says, "Lisa, take a solo shot looking out" she goes out and turns around to see Anthony on his knee with the perfect ring asking her to marry him and be Best Friends forever. She was totally shocked and surprised. SHE SAID YES!!! and couldn't stop looking at my ring all the way back to the car.
