WE ARE FINALLY GETTING MARRIED!

YAY-- We are back up and running! Excited for you all to join us for our new date of 12/18/2021! Please check back for more details, but always feel free to reach out with any questions!

How We Met

04/02/2014

Alex and I met online over 6 years ago...there are some success stories from Tinder back in the day. I was a sophomore at St. Catherine University and he was a recent graduate from St. Cloud State. Ironically enough we both grew up in Wyoming, MN. I went to Forest Lake High school with Alex's younger sister Maddy and played on the same soccer team. I knew who Alex was being that "cute older brother". He, however, went to Hill Murray High school to play hockey and lacrosse. When we connected he was sweet enough to ask me out for coffee (as I was not 21 yet) where we met and talked for over 4 HOURS! Since that day-- the rest is history.

How He Proposed

12/13/2019

Getting close to the hustle and bustle of the Holidays I (girl Alex) wanted to have one last dinner date night before Christmas. Seeing that I set up this dinner Al thought it would be clever to take advantage of this night I planned to propose. He chose the area and I chose the restaurant. We went to Herbies On The Park in downtown St.Paul which we had never been before and the food was amazing. After dinner, he took me for a stroll in Rice Park-- one of the most magical areas downtown during Christmas time. The park is surrounded by trees and they are lit up with Christmas lights. In the middle of the park (with surprisingly no one around) he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was shocked and absolutely smitten as I had NO IDEA because I PLANNED THE DATE-- of course I said "YES"! I thought the surprise ended there, but after all the tears, hugs, kisses, and excitement he asked if I wanted to celebrate by getting some champagne at the St.Paul Hotel (that was a heck yeah for me-- I was on cloud 9). We walked in and there awaiting our arrival was my family along with his, with cake and the champagne to celebrate the engagement with us! I think I was just about as shocked to see all of them there than I was when he asked me to marry him, it was simply the best! I stopped in my tracks and cried. He knows me too well-- I LOVE Christmas and for both of us, family being involved is so important! Needless to say it was better than any of my wildest dreams of what this day would be like.
