Shenna helped Shannon through some of the roughest times of her life and has always reminded her of how much she kicks ass. She is a strong independent and amazing mother. Shannon is grateful for her help in this adventure.
Lindy Ward

Lindy has been Shannon's older "sister" since high school and has always been there when she needed someone to cry or celebrate with. She helped teach McKenna how to swim in her pool. She hosted Shannon's baby shower for Reed's arrival and gave him his first bath after he was born. Shannon wouldn't be who she is today without Lindy's compassionate influence in her life.
Lorana Tessmer
Bridesmaid
Lorana has a daughter McKenna's age and Shannon met Lorana through her. From trick-or-treating to birthday parties, through pregnancies and heartbreak, Lorana has been a genuine source of comfort and advice for Shannon. They share the task of parenting apart from family with each other- the tribulations and the triumphs. Shannon has gained humor and strength in parenting and in life by sharing the journey with Lorana, and is so excited to celebrate with her.
Lisa Zamzow
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Lisa were coworkers after Shannon moved down to Stevens Point, and although they haven't known each other long they became quick friends. Lisa has been there for Shannon when she needed guidance and a few laughs. Shannon admires Lisa's passion for protecting people and resources, her amazing heart and her sense of humor and can't wait to celebrate with her.
Meg Ratelle
Bridesmaid
Meg is Chris's sister-in-law and has stepped into a sister role for Shannon already as well, helping enormously in moving her family into the Ratelle household, sharing a few laughs, and passionately assisting with wedding planning. Shannon can't wait to become her sister and celebrate with her.
Katie Gebhardt
Bridesmaid
Katie was one of the first friends Shannon made at UWSP and lived across the hall in the dorms. She has been a constant source of support, through children and jobs, adventures and tribulations. Shannon can't wait to celebrate with her in December.
