We met Friday, September 28th, 2018 in Louisville, KY at General Conference. First of all, if you haven't heard the whole story- it's a must. We both agree Josh tells it better. However, we will give you a quick summary. "Neither of us wanted to meet anyone." Josh was there with his friends and came just for that day. Hannah had been there all weekend and came with friends as well. "Neither of us had any idea or clue that the other existed, yet we had mutual friends." That night, Josh decided to introduce himself to Hannah's pastors' wife, Vivian. Vivian and Josh began to talk. Vivian asked him if he would be okay with meeting someone. Josh (THANK GOD) said yes and one of Hannah's friends went to go get her and told her Vivian had someone that she wanted her to meet. Hannah definitely wasn't expecting it to be a prospect of interest. HAHA "It was the closest thing we think we have heard to love at first sight. We met and talked for hours." Josh ended up coming out to eat with Hannah's group they spent the whole night together. Josh walked Hannah and her friends back to their hotel. Hannah stayed with him in the lobby until Josh's ride arrived. The rest is history- They have been together ever since. Josh officially asked Hannah to be his girlfriend by showing up at her house January 12th, 2019 after driving from Alabama to Michigan. He scared her half to death in her drive way with flowers and the sweetest card. (Also a funny story) Josh proposed Friday, November, 29th 2019! It was such a fun weekend with their family and friends.
