We're getting married!

We don’t really know when or where we met, sometime between middle and high school. Between attending the same small school and involvement in 4H, we just sorta always knew each other. We may have known each other all throughout school, but the real story didn’t start until years later.

After a few weeks of texting, snapchats, and facetimes - we had our first date. We planned the perfect day that included both of our favorite things, mimosas (E) and dinosaurs (M). On October 16, 2020 - we went to brunch at Lindey's Lakehouse and then the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

I scheduled a tee time for Mitch's birthday and he decided that would be a great time to propose, surprising everyone who had been helping him plan the proposal! As we were getting ready to head out, I made a joke about needing to paint my nails which he quickly laughed off. Once we arrived at Paradise Lake I started searching his golf bag for chapstick, somehow missing the hidden ring. I thought nothing of it when he rushed me out of his bag. After 8 holes of a seemingly normal round, we drive up to the green on the 9th hole and see a photographer. She lets us know that she is there to take pictures for the course's Facebook and I obviously believed her. I was stressed about her watching and ended up putting 5 times while Mitch somehow made a par putt. Once I finally finished - I looked over to see Mitch down on one knee saying "You really should have painted your nails this morning."
