When should I book my flight?

When should I be there?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:30 pm, with seating starting at 3:00 pm. Please arrive no later than 3:15 pm.

Cocktail to semi-formal, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight...

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is the venue flexible with dietary requirements?

Answer

Yes, our venue caters to all dietary needs – veggie/vegan, gluten-free, fat-free, dairy-free, food allergies etc. All food is made with fresh local produce from the venue's own gardens, or locally sourced from the region. Please note your meal preferences & restrictions along with your RSVP.

So it's an outdoor ceremony; what will the weather be like?

For our wedding in June, we anticipate the weather to feel something like the Charleston spring during the day and fall in the morning and evening. Highs in the (low) 70s and lows in the (low) 50s.

Can I take pictures with my personal camera or cell phone?

Answer

Ceremony - No. Reception - Yes! We are looking forward to all of the photos you take during the pre-ceremony and reception, but we ask that you keep your devices in your pockets or purses during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture these precious moments, and we want all of you to be present with us during this special time. During the reception, however, go wild! Feel free to tag us on social media! #KirwanSayIDio
