What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal, and we also invite you to participate in our wedding color palette pictured above. (See next point for more on this.) Semi-formal means dressing a notch above everyday wear—not tuxes or ball gowns, but something that looks and feels special. So for the fellas: a suit or blazer with dress pants. For the ladies: a midi dress, jumpsuit, or a polished skirt-and-top combo—just skip anything casual like jeans or sneakers.

Picture this: sandy shores where our story began in San Diego… ocean waves that feel like home… lush, green Hawaiian valleys where we fell even deeper in love… and now, our next chapter unfolds in Carpinteria, where we will seal the deal on a green avocado farm overlooking the Pacific. We have selected a color palette based on the magic that all of those places share: • Sandy browns—like Ocean Beach sand underfoot and the trails of Dev’s favorite Oahu hikes • Sage greens—echoes of our Hawaii apt views of Manoa Valley and walks through the Carpinteria bluffs • Blues from sky to navy—because quite frankly, the ocean is the backdrop to so much of our story and will always be our favorite place to be. We’d love for you to play along with these colors, if you’re feeling it—think a sky-blue tie, sage scarf, sandy-toned dress, or a navy something that whispers “coastal cool.” Totally optional, and know that just being there means the world. In short: come as you are, but if you want to dip into our color mood—it’ll make the photos sing. Either way? We can’t wait to celebrate with our people!

What if I'd like to gift the couple?

Answer

Your presence is truly the only gift we need, and we are so excited to spend a weekend with every one we love. But, if you absolutely insist, we would happily accept a contribution to our honeymoon. Venmo @Kirsty-Sinclair. Huge mahalo !

Transportation to venue?

Answer

Please note, due to the private location of the ranch, cars are not permitted on the venue. No need to bring a car, we've got you covered! We will be providing transportation from both Santa Barbara and Carpinteria to the wedding. Please check this space closer to the date for exact pick up locations and times. For any and all questions in regards to day of transportation please contact our fantastic wedding planner Alyssa at 3607084918
