Pafos International Airport is the local airport and it takes between 20 - 35 minutes to reach the centre depending on whether you are staying in Kato Paphos or the Coral Bay areas respectively. Larnaka Airport is located at other end of the island but is just 1 hour 30 minutes' drive to Paphos. This airport may be preferable for friends who wish to explore this beachy side of the island or the capital, Nicosia. Buses are cheap and easily connect the two sides of the island, though it may be a more comfortable and a quicker option to rent a car for those who are considering exploring more of the island. Flights during the summer season are regular from most airports across the UK, and for our international family and friends: Cyprus Airways and Vueling offer direct flights from Spain and flights from the US are recommended via UK or Athens.
Travel Note
Bolt operates in the Paphos / Coral Bay area, so do take advantage of these if you're able to pre-book. CABCY Taxi App Cyprus is also popular and allows you to book ahead. Rental Car
Good news for the majority is that you drive on the left-hand side in Cyprus! There are plenty of car rental companies in Cyprus and this may be the best way to get around if you want to explore more of the island.
