Kirstin and Rossten's story began in the spring of 2022 at a young adults Bible study in Lafayette, Louisiana. What started as a friendship through church and summer camp ministry gradually grew into something more as God quietly wrote a story neither of them could yet see. On December 23, 2022, they went on their first date at Christmas Fest in New Orleans. After an evening filled with laughter, conversation, rides, and a memorable attempt at ice skating, both knew something special had begun. Just a few months later, on February 18, 2023, Rossten asked Kirstin to be his girlfriend, and she happily said yes. Their relationship soon faced the challenge of long distance. For two years, they navigated busy schedules, long drives, and countless phone calls, growing closer through every season. When Kirstin was accepted to UGA to pursue her Ph.D., Rossten made the decision to move to Athens, Georgia, allowing them to finally build their daily lives together again. The ordinary moments they had once missed—grocery runs, workouts, and quiet evenings at home—became some of their most treasured memories. Then, on May 28, 2026, surrounded by family and friends, Rossten asked Kirstin one final question. She said yes! After years of friendship, faith, perseverance, and love, Kirstin and Rossten are excited to begin their next chapter as husband and wife. Their greatest adventure is only just beginning.
