Denver

Neighborhoods: Lohi (Lower Highlands), Rino (River North), West Highlands, Sloans Lake, Berkley/Tennyson Restaurants: Safta, Señor Bear, Bar Dough, Mister Oso, Work & Class, Uchi Bars: Improper City, Recess, Avanti F&B, Happy Camper, Activites: Watch the Rockies play at Coors Field, Meow Wolf (unique immersive art installation), take a walk or have a picnic in one of the many parks (Washington Park, Sloans Lake Park, and Cheesman Park are our favorites!)

Red Rocks Park & Ampitheater

Considered one of the best music venues in the country, if you have not been to Red Rocks, we highly recommend that you do. Whether its for a show, or just to visit during the day! The park is typically open every morning (check the schedule). If it works out, buy tickets to a show! PS. If you are staying at the Origins hotel, they offer free shuttle service to the park!

Head into the Mountains

If you're staying for longer than just a day or two, we encourage you to see and experience some of the beautiful mountains Colorado has to offer. Rocky Mountain National Park- just 2.5 hours away from Denver. This is a huge park with hikes for all levels. Reservations required in the summer! Boulder- just 35 minutes from Denver. Boulder has beautiful mountains and lots of hiking. Take a hike in Chataqua park in the Flatiron mountains. Other mountain towns we love--Breckenridge, Frisco, Vail, Winter Park (you could do any of these as a day trip!)
