Bok Tower Gardens
Bok Tower Gardens is about a 30 min drive from our venue, but this is a must see if you are spending some time in Central FL. This 250 acre garden surrounds the impressive 205 foot tall Singing Tower built in 1929 by the Bok Family. The Gardens offer a variety of nature trails, ponds and pools, and even bell concerts to keep you busy for an afternoon. Best of all, the Gardens are dog friendly!
Grove Roots Brewing Company
This casual, industrial-style hang out is the perfect place to stop on your way into town. They always have over a dozen brews tap, some signatures and some specialties rotating through. If you're lucky you'll get to try one of their sours, Kirstie's favorite! Located in the heart of downtown Winter Haven, there are lots of other bars, restaurants, and shops to check out nearby too.
Disney Springs
Disney Springs, AKA Downtown Disney for all the locals, is only half an hour from our venue and the perfect place to get your quick Disney fix. Admission is free and there are tons of fun shops, bars, restaurants, and attractions for kids and adults alike. Needless to say, you could also visit any of the parks if you have time in your schedule!
Wild Florida Airboats & Gator Park
For those looking to see some real Florida wildlife, head down to Wild Florida Airboats and Gator Park for an airboat tour of the headwaters to the Everglades! They also have more than 200 native and exotic animals to get up close and personal with on site.
