Kirstie and Cole met in the Fall of 2018 through the Track and Field team at UW-Platteville. After connecting through athletics and spending lots of quality time together, Cole decided to make the relationship official. Kirstie and Cole spent four years at UW-Platteville as a couple making various memories that will last a life time. Fast forward to 2022, Kirstie graduated and accepted a position in South Carolina while Cole still had a year left of school. Cole and Kirstie had to navigate a long distance relationship for an entire year. In 2023, Cole accepted a position and was able to join Kirstie in South Carolina where they have lived for the past few years. Along the way, they even adopted a four-legged child that keeps them busy! In February 2025, after 6 years of dating, Cole proposed to Kirstie on a beach in the Cayman Islands. Kirstie and Cole are looking forward to celebrating their big day with all their loved ones!
