Huntington Harbour Yacht Club

In true Huntington Beach style, our story began on the sand through beach volleyball. On our first date, we walked the Surf City Farmer’s Market, instantly clicking, so wrapped up in conversation that the market itself faded into the background. Then (unplanned) we settled in for dinner at Main Street Wine Bar, a Sibley Family favorite. Six hours later, after genuine conversation, laughter, and playful flirting, it was clear we were already all in. Not long after, we followed family footsteps as we took sailing lessons with Wade’s parents and brother Ryan, while Kirsten’s parents shared how sailing shaped their love story. We loved it so much that we ended up with our own Lido 14 sailboat and joined the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club. Our life together feels full:) sailing to Pelican’s, summer beach volleyball, winter snowboarding, going for runs together, tackling house projects, hosting holiday parties, and time with friends and family. We even kayaked 26 miles over 2 days, braving the open ocean, 1/2mi off the coast of Catalina Island. Through it all, we've watched each other grow into the best versions of ourselves with work, traveling, balancing life, and welcoming our puppy Balto, a Shar-Pei/Husky mix! On October 18, 2025, Wade proposed while sailing through Huntington Harbour; a place deeply tied to the foundation of our relationship. It was there, surrounded by the water, memories, and the life we built side by side, that began our next chapter!
