Attire: Formal We invite you to dress your best in formal wear. Gentlemen, suits are requested (feel free to skip the tie if you’d like). Ladies, we suggest elegant full or midi-length dresses. Out of respect for the bride, we kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive between 4:30–4:45 PM to allow time for parking, getting settled, and being seated before the ceremony begins.
The ceremony will take place indoors at The L. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors on the large patio at The Old Cigar Warehouse (New Realm). The reception will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces — food, drinks, and dancing will be available indoors, with additional seating available both indoors and outdoors.
Late August in Greenville is typically warm and humid. While we hope for a beautiful summer evening, please be mindful of the weather and dress comfortably for outdoor portions of the night. We also encourage guests to stay hydrated — southern summer heat is no joke!
We kindly ask that only those listed on your wedding invitation attend. If your partner is unable to attend, please reach out to the Bride & Groom before making any substitutions. Due to venue policies, guests must be 21+ to attend unless prior approval has been given by the Bride & Groom for special circumstances (such as actively breastfeeding infants).
After the ceremony at The L, a trolley will shuttle guests to The Old Cigar Warehouse (New Realm) for cocktail hour and the reception. Parking at The L is limited due to its downtown location: 25 spots available for the rehearsal dinner 70 spots available for the wedding day There is no designated parking at The Old Cigar Warehouse, but free street parking and several nearby public parking decks are available. If you’re staying downtown, we highly encourage using Uber, Lyft, or even local rickshaws (a fun summer option!) as The L and The Old Cigar Warehouse are only 0.9 miles apart. At the end of the evening, the trolley will return all guests back to their vehicles at The L.
