Black-tie garden party attire Formal black-tie clothing, such as tuxedos or suits and evening gowns, or elevated cocktail dresses. Lighter fabrics and softer colors, or floral accents appropriate for an elegant outdoor garden setting. There will be grass and uneven ground so maybe rethink stilettos.
