Russ and I met through TikTok. Russ posted a video of himself and his friends working on his car. I liked it and followed his profile. Russ said he looked at my profile, realized I was a real person who also participated in car culture and decided to send me a message. We talked through TikTok messages and eventually text messages for a couple months before I agreed to meet him in person. Our first date was filled with good food, good conversation, and, of course, some spirited driving. That was 3 years ago. We still talk and laugh about that day. Now we’re getting married and can’t wait to make more lasting memories with each other… and our cars!
